My Swollen Lips and My Obsession to Find it as a Milk Allergy

Ok.
I am so sorry to those of you who did not want to see these.....
photos of my swollen face.
This has been happening along with horrible hives all over
The lip swelling happens at least 3 days per week
since Christmas Eve 2008.
I am so ready to be done with it.

These are from Sunday night,
Monday morning
before my allergy appointment.
I have been trying to take photos
to keep track of how it goes and all.
So I had said on facebook that I would be
surprised if it was not a milk allergy.
The appointment went well and the Allergist explained a lot.
It was interesting
and they had me lay on my stomach
and the lady who was going to put the
allergens on came in and was surprised.
She said that she did not expect so many hives on my back.
So, she randomly put the stuff on
and left
and returned
15 minutes later
saying that there were not any reactions
to the allergens that she put on me.
Not allergic to milk...
she said.
And then wiped everything off.
Making me crazy!
So I went and placed my percriptions
and we went to Sonic
and I ate and then my lip swelled again.
WHAT?
Tuesday....there ain't not hives on me...so happy.
Wednesday...they were slowly returning...
only not as badly.
But they were back!
So the last few days I have been sticking
my forearms with a needle....
one without milk
and an other spot
I dab milk
on my arm
and then stick my arm through the dab of milk.
It comes up each time with hives
on the milk one
and it takes longer than
15 minutes.
HELLO!
Making a phone call tomorrow.

Even if I just went in
and they stab me
and I wait in the lobby for an hour.
Geesh.

Way below
are the lip photos.
So you don't have to look at it.
I know they are freakishly large.

This is my "normal" look.

Just getting started....

Within 15 minutes......

Crap....this time it hurts...

Kissy, Kissy! Muuahh!
Sorry to post this....not at all the most flattering photos of me.
~~~~~~~
I can not give up.
I am becoming just a tad obsessed about finding out.
I have to.
Love,
Bree
I am not having milk anything as of Saturday. This will be hard! My whole diet revolves around milk. I know it can be done...like Dad, But MAN! And I know I can do it...I have to. I said to Chip on the way home from church that if it is the milk...then it is like I have been drinking poison for almost 5 months. AAAHHH
this post made me cry.. Bree........no milk! Please even if it isn't that you will live. I'm so, so sad for you. You look like you had pumped-up lips by a drunk doctor. I love you and if you need me to go and yell at the doctor, I will! This is scary! Mom
Oh. My. Gosh. That's horrible! Not knowing is probably the worst part. If you knew the problem all this time you could have been working on the solution! Good luck. I'm sorry you are having to deal with this!
Have you looked into HAE...Hereditary angioedemia. My daughter has these symptom but with no allergies. Might help. She gets hives, welts, swollen lips, throat, ears, hands and feet.
