Me at 20 Weeks Ultra Sound on February 28th ,the day we found that it's a girl!
Well....it has been a long time. I am going to have to change things up around here. It is not going to be life with just Jane and Charlie anymore. Susan Elaine will be born around July 11th. We are so excited. She will be named Susan after my Mother and Elaine is Chip's Mother Bea and his Sister Lisa's middle name. I think her name is lovely.
Susan's Bassinet
We have been preparing...me mostly because I am home and I am so darned excited. Here is one of my projects that I found on
tipjunkie.com . I found it and knew I had to make one, but I didn't know yet if we were having a boy or girl. Once we found out...I was off to Hancock Fabric the next day.
I will post the progress photos of mine and if you want directions...you will have to go to Tip Junkie for that hahaha. I love how it turned out....thank goodness because it took A LOT of time to make.
Lines sewn
Cutting with this handy, awesome tool. All cut and binding done....ready for the wash and dry.
The Finished product!
I love how it feels and drapes.
The colors are sweet and I am very pleased with how it turned out.
I finished it and threw it in the washer and went to bed at 12:05 this morning.
I woke to use the bathroom and tossed it in the dryer and woke up and pulled it out and smiled at how sweet it is. :)
YAY!!
I will be posting more....excited for the changes and the little sweet spirit that will be joining our family. :)
